My name is Gord. I’m a Designer, Art Director, and Illustrator based in Edmonton, Alberta. For the last 18 years, I’ve been helping agencies, nonprofits, startups, and organizations create campaigns, build brands, craft illustrations, develop visual systems, and bring ideas to life.

The thing I love most about this industry is that no two days are the same. One day I’m helping a nonprofit raise millions of dollars. The next I’m developing a refreshed brand, creating illustrations, or presenting a new creative direction to a client. Every project comes with a different challenge, and that’s what keeps me excited about the work.

I’ve spent my career collaborating with talented writers, strategists, developers, photographers, animators, account teams, and clients. I’ve learned that great creative work never comes from one person. It comes from smart people pulling in the same direction, challenging each other, refining ideas, and working together to make the work better.

Over the years, my work has earned 53 awards across design, advertising, and illustration. That’s nice. Awards are fun. But the real reward has always been creating work that solves problems, earns trust, delivers results, and makes clients excited to share it with the world.

I’m endlessly curious about creativity, technology, and finding better ways to bring ideas to life. Whether I’m developing a campaign concept, crafting a visual identity, creating illustrations, or exploring new tools and techniques, I genuinely enjoy every part of the process.
